SOCCER VACATION IN
LONDON, ENGLAND
July 27 to August 7, 2007
(For individual players, teams and their families)
FULLY ESCORTED soccer travel program for Boys and Girls
of all ages led by ICES Director of Soccer and ICES professional
coaches..
ICES summer U.K. Headquarters is London University’s
Royal Holloway College, near Windsor. Players are in
single rooms at Founders Hall (see picture) with daily
maid service. Nutritional English breakfast and dinner
are provided daily and the program features personalized
coaching clinics, team play and tournament play as well
as a wide variety of sightseeing choices.
ICES select teams (made up of individual players) will
be BOYS U11, U14 and U17. GIRLS U12, U16 and Open age.
Younger players also welcome. For other teams already
formed, the age groups are BOYS U11, U12, U13, U14, U15,
U16, U17 and U19. GIRLS U12, U16 and Open age.
ITINERARY
Friday, July 27th
Depart USA…You are responsible for your own flights
(frequent flier miles etc.). Competitive flight rates
are available from our Belmont Shore travel associates,
Seaside Travel, Telephone (800) 404-7456. Special airfare
estimated to be around $700 (plus tax) per person.
Saturday, July 28th
Arrive London (LHR)…Met by ICES representative
and transfer (15 mins.) to Royal Holloway College, Egham
near Windsor. Royal Holloway is a classic 18th Century
Stately Home in its own expansive grounds with lawns,
lakes, woods and 8 pristine soccer fields. The college
has bars, restaurants, shops and laundromats. Daily breakfast
and dinner are provided in the Great Hall and lunch may
also be purchased at the college and nearby tourist attractions.
World famous Eton College and Windsor Castle are close
by…Settle in…Staff introductions…’loosening’ light
soccer session…Relaxing evening exploring the grounds
etc.
Sunday, July 29st
Coaching Clinics with ICES professional coaching staff…followed
by ‘Friendly’ Games vs. London teams…Visit
to Eton and Windsor Castle.
Monday, July 30st
Coaching Clinics with ICES staff and Arsenal Football
Club professional coaching staff… Afternoon – Personalized
visit to world famous Arsenal F.C. (current English
Football Association Premier league Champions…Best
in the World!!).
Tuesday, July 31st
Coaching Clinics and ‘Friendly Games’…Sightseeing
options.
Wednesday, August 1st to Sunday, August 5th
The 16th Annual Arsenal International Soccer Festival
with Boys and Girls teams from all over the world.
As part of the Soccer Festival, there will be youth
dances, socials and other entertainment. ICES will
organize a day of London sightseeing (when tournament
games allow)…Visit Buckingham Palace (Changing
of the Guards 11:00 am), Westminster Abbey, Houses
of Parliament (with Big Ben), Tower of London, Covent
Garden…Perhaps ride the “London Eye” Ferris
wheel and in the evening, possibly take in a West End
Theatre production.
Monday, August 6th
Return flight to USA…or onward travel of your choice.

FUNDRAISING
Many participants have raised the FULL AMOUNT for
their trip by using the ICES DRAWING FUNDRAISER:
- 1st Prize…A one week vacation in Waikiki, Hawaii
for two (air and hotel)... plus other exciting prizes.
ICES will print the tickets and make them available
for you to sell as a fundraiser – (suggested donation
price is $10 per ticket). For every ticket sold, ICES
will deduct $1 for processing charges and this will be
reflected on your final invoice. You may have unlimited
number of tickets at no cost.
